  • Delete: This is another step of my clean-up of aircrash victims (see here). Now I'm moving on to aircrash survivors by nominating this list. They all have unlikely disambiguation which makes for an implausible search term. Tavix (talk) 17:05, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Tavix's reasoning makes sense. Not only are these implausible search terms, but since they point to the flight name, anyone who knew to search for the flight name could easily find the target article. --Orlady (talk) 17:33, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per others. Tempo di Valse ♪ 22:21, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep those that are listed on the target page, e.g. Daniel Fernández (Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571), redirect to the relevant section. -- User:Docu
    • Comment. The qualifier as such is not part of the search term. Consistency in qualifiers as in the list above is a good thing. -- User:Docu

Easy Back It Up / Part 2 (Vinyl)2000 Fold[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete with no objections.--Aervanath (talk) 16:40, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delete All are names of records with added material (more than one song title, unusual disambiguiation, etc.) that render them unlikely search terms. No incoming links. TheJazzDalek (talk) 16:14, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:RDRWikipedia:Redirect[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep--Aervanath (talk) 16:36, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

While Wikipedia:Redirects is an important page, I've created Wikipedia:Requesting dispute resolution as a place for quick and direct access to both dispute resolution rules and each of their particular filing procedures. WP:RDR is a direct mnemonic of that new access page, and I think it would be more useful there. WP:Redirect already uses WP:R. A what links here search for WP:RDR currently shows about a hundred links, while WP:R shows many many times that usage (10K+) -Stevertigo 15:49, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Keep as is. As an alternative, Wikipedia:Requesting dispute resolution could be moved to Wikipedia:Dispute resolution requests, which would match the new WP:DRR shortcut and appear to fit the WP naming styles. -- JHunterJ (talk) 23:10, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:LAHCMTalk:Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument[edit]

Unusual CNR to an article, not part of the Project. MBisanz talk 09:28, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is a shortcut to the location that I set up to provide the currently suggested discussion among persons developing articles about Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monuments is to happen. It may be changed to point to a different place, say the Talk page of a wikiproject if one is formed, or of a Wikiproject task force. The redirect is not itself in mainspace. It is serving a purpose. I do not believe there is any reason to delete it. So, please don't! doncram (talk) 15:06, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep for now. This is currently serving a project-related purpose, so it's fine in project space. In the long term, a permanent redirect like this is probably not a good idea. Gavia immer (talk) 19:04, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Useless redirect, unlikely, and not particularly any reason to point to this one. Magog the Ogre (talk) 06:57, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: It seems it was only used once, here. I really don't see it being used again, and it is kinda a random page to shortcut that to. Tavix (talk) 16:05, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TalkpageWikipedia:Talk page[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to MediaWiki. Talk page will also be retargeted there.--Aervanath (talk) 16:30, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cross-namespace redirect Telephonedennis talk 05:32, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - crossspace redirect; gives the impression that talkpage is a notable phenomenon. Magog the Ogre (talk) 06:58, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • … which, actually, it is. We did in fact, at one point, have an article on it, based upon multiple non-Wikipedia sources — not just WWW pages but outright books dealing with the subject. That article was turned into a cross-namespace redirect, ironically. It was the outcome that no-one actually wanted from an AFD discussion where next to no-one presented a decent policy-based argument that actually addressed the article at hand. If it hadn't happened, there'd be an obvious redirect target here. Uncle G (talk) 21:02, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Coming from there I suggest that we change the redirect target to MediaWiki and let interested editors conduct a merger of any interesting material to there from the history. Yes, the subject of a MediaWiki talk page might conceivably be notable, though I have not read the references cited in the former article to check whether they cover the subject at any depth at all, but per WP:SS such topics should grow naturally out of the parent article. Editors at MediaWiki may decide at a later time to spin it out again if there's really a need to do so.  Sandstein  20:27, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oh, I'm sorry, the redirect I thought I was talking about was Talk page, which unlike Talkpage has a former life as an article, but we might as well consider both of these together.  Sandstein  20:29, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Black Widow (comics) (disambiguation)Black Widow[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete Wizardman 21:05, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unneeded redirect and the double disambiguation makes it an implausible search term. Tavix (talk) 03:02, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Black Widow (comics), Black Widow (disambiguation), and Black widow (disambiguation) already redirect to the target. The double-disambiguated version is unlikely to be used and not needed for anything else. If there are any more of these SmackBot creations with double disambiguations around, I support deleting those, too. Gavia immer (talk) 18:54, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, as with any "Title (qualifier) (disambiguation)" (after any content has been merged to the base dab, which isn't needed here). -- JHunterJ (talk) 23:14, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete implausible redirect, people looking for the article will either type in (comics) or (disambiguation) separately, but not both. Tempo di Valse ♪ 14:45, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
