This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on January 12, 2009

Maggie (TV seriesMaggie (TV series)[edit]

The result of the discussion was Delete, taking into account that article has been moved to the right title immediately after creation--Tikiwont (talk) 09:13, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - malformed and unnecessary redirect. Otto4711 (talk) 19:48, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Very strong keep This redirect was created becuase someone typed in that and accidently left out the final bracket. It's fairly obvious where they want to be taken if they type that into the search box, so keep.--Pattont/c 21:56, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • As we now have prompted searching, with this deleted anyone typing Maggie (TV will get Maggie (TV series) as their only prompt. How is this redirect useful in any possible way given that fact? Otto4711 (talk) 00:19, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete As per Otto4711, the existence of malformed search terms that are just one character short of completion (e.g. Michae[l], Jea[n], High Schoo[l], etc.) would lead us in the direction of keeping every possible search string. As it is, with this re-direct in place we almost encourage people to select the malformed heading. --RCEberwein | Talk 20:19, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Harmless enough, but it might start a chain of not quite complete redirects. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 19:39, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Deleted. Proposal didn't succeed. Redirecting to an archived discussion has the potential to confuse folks. The current title implies it exists. -- JLaTondre (talk) 13:24, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No longer listed on proposals page. No history worth saving, project was long since declined. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 00:04, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
