$$ and $$$ are sometimes used to indicate wealth and expense, but since they would be more likely used in Wiktionary, rather than here, delete. If for some reason it is kept, redirect both $$ and $$$ to expense. B.Wind (talk) 15:48, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have seen $$$$ and $$$$$ used in a few periodicals to indicate the average price of a meal at a restaurant, or the price of a room in a hotel, but not nearly with the frequency of occurrence as $, $$, and $$$ (as indicated above). Create dab or keep -- the use of "$$" seems to be a in-universe monetary system in the Trigun anime series called "double dollars", like how Simoleons are an in-universe money for The Sims. Per the Trigun article: "Most of the damage attributed to Vash is caused by bounty hunters after the "60,000,000,000$$" (sixty billion "double dollars") bounty on Vash's head for the destruction of the city of July."
