Master of beats, y'all → Moby[edit]
The result of the debate was Deleted. -- JLaTondre (talk) 03:02, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
I originally tagged this redirect as an R3 implausible misnomer, but its creator removed the tag with the following edit summary: Moby has been said to stand for "Master of beats, y'all". Even if this origin is incorrect, anyone who searches for this will be shown Moby's article. Somehow, I doubt that anyone will search for that, expecting something on Moby. Delete. - A google search on that phrase returns a mere 17 hits, at least 2 of which trace back to Wikipedia and the rest appear to fail WP:RS. We set deliberately low standards for redirects but even I don't think the standard is supposed to be quite this low. Rossami (talk) 03:48, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed... from a search on google and then the though process of looking on Wikipedia for that does not make sence. --Pmedema (talk) 09:33, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Delete idiotic. The Moby article says why he's named Moby. Sounds like another Internet yahoo making shit up. JuJube (talk) 14:08, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Delete, makes little sense, and those hits on Google are non-reliable. Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 21:58, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - most highly unlikely search item that borders on nonsense. B.Wind (talk) 03:11, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - Unplausible search term. TALKIN PIE EATER REVIEW ME 21:10, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
