The result of the debate was Keep. -- JLaTondre (talk) 00:04, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The correctly named redirect is Stephen Grant (murderer). Reason: "If a redirect is not an established term and is unlikely to be used by searchers, it is unlikely to be useful and may reasonably be nominated for deletion." The exact term is an unlikely search candidate and while redirects cannot be deleted for POV, it seems having this redirect around is just leaving the door open for future WP:EDITWARS. — MrDolomite • Talk 00:18, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep because it helps document the pagemove. This page had significant history prior to the move and may yet have external links to the old, nonstandard pagename. The value of the history, in my opinion, outweighs the theoretical risks described in the nomination. I might come to a different conclusion if this page had been heavily vandalized or had been highly controversial but the pagehistory here shows a very straight-forward and uncontested move. The above is preserved as the archive of a RfD nomination. Please do not modify it.
