Don't be analWikipedia:Don't be anal[edit]

Cross-space redirect, from mainspace into WP space. Speedy per G12 non-controversial deletion was rejected on the basis that CSD criteria don't cover this sort of redirects (see a diff covering both edit summaries provided as explanation by the admin and notice that on WP:CSD#Redirects the correct criteria R2 only mentions redirects into talk pages and userspace, while this one is into WP space). Target is an essay on meta stuff about editing. This should be a red link to make one day an article about the usage of this sentence, and should not be a blue link to meta stuff about wikipedia editors. Whatever. It's not hurting anything, but if it is more in accord with policy to delete it, that is that (: It was created more or less by accident. ——Martinphi Ψ Φ—— 19:17, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Delete as per redirect policy. Also, I responded on my talk page. NuclearWarfare contact meMy work 19:25, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HalopediaHalo (series)[edit]

The result of the discussion was Delete per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Halopedia (3rd nomination) and WP:CNR. Dreadstar 17:08, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I realize that Halopedia is a Wiki related to Halo, but a.) the target article makes no mention of the wiki, and b.) there seem to be no reliable sources about the wiki, so it shouldn't even be mentioned in the target article anyway. Seems the redirect was used as a sort of deletion, looking at the edit summary. "17:56, 3 May 2008 Nneonneo (Talk | contribs) (27 bytes) (redir to Halo series; Halopedia itself probably doesn't warrant an article (yet)) (undo)" The content before the redirect was nothing more than "The free Halo wiki.", so this might qualify for WP:CSD#A7. If not, deletion is fine with me. -- Ned Scott 07:23, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cars: Race 2 France -> Cars 2[edit]

The result of the debate was Delete Dreadstar 20:23, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Page move vandal that I undid. Georgia guy (talk) 13:15, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • G6 I believe that reversion of a pagemove vandalism counts as "non-controversial maintentance". So tagged. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 18:25, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment There is something confusing here... The article at "Cars 2" says the name was changed to "Cars: Race 2 France". If so the move was legitimate, and should be done again. I removed the CSD tag as for now I don't think it is clearly a G2, as explained - Nabla (talk) 19:27, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment on comment. That's simply a vandal's edit that is to be reverted. Georgia guy (talk) 19:38, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
