What the fuck and What the fuck?WTF[edit]

The result of the debate was redirect to Fuck. - Mtmelendez (Talk) 23:37, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why the hell would anyone be looking for "What the fuck" and expect to find a page full of WTF abbreviations? This is useless redirect. And fuck would be a better target in my opinion. TheBlazikenMaster 00:16, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • They should redirect to List of Internet slang phrases#W. It is quite possible that someone might search on these expressions and this is the best place to send them. --Bduke 00:41, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Agreed. I went ahead and made the change as it seems unlikely to be contentious. Anyone object to an early close? — xDanielx T/C 05:23, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I object to the idea of redirecting to List of Internet slang phrases#W. These phrases existed for a very long time before the internet showed up. This is a slang phrase, not an internet slang phrase. --After Midnight 0001 09:37, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • I was gonna point that out but you said everything I was going to say in the edit confilt. Not only did it exist long before the internet, it's also used a lot outside the internet. Not to mention all the action movies. My vote is redirect to fuck. TheBlazikenMaster 09:40, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
      • Also, I reverted XDanielx's edits. There is absolutley no reason why this should be closed early. I made this discussion to discuss, give it the week it deserves. We don't want long arguments that come to some talk pages after the vote is finished because it didn't get the chance it deserved, do we? TheBlazikenMaster 09:43, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
        • Well, the discussion is over after few hours. So let's just redirect it to fuck. Or perhaps we could re-list this to get more cons. TheBlazikenMaster 16:51, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Any phrase on List of Internet slang phrases can be used outside of the Internet; what matters is that they are primarily associated with internet slang, as sources like history of the word 'fuck' suggest. That said, I'm not sure I'd still support a redirect to the list in light of the transwiki. Maybe another soft redirect to the appendix, or a redirect to fuck as TBM suggested. — xDanielx T/C 00:18, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment List of Internet slang phrases has been deleted following AFD. Algebraist 17:44, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note To the closing administrator. Since the list has been deleted, I think it's best if you ignore those suggestions. TheBlazikenMaster 23:13, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
