"the talking dog" refers to many dogs in cartoons that have the ability to talk. The recurring character is just one of many from other animated series that can talk. So I think this redirect should change into something else? Maybe "List of fictional dogs" or "talking animals"? I can name one other fictional character that's sometimes called the talking dog, Brian Griffin. TheBlazikenMaster 18:24, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- Comment haha YES also Two Stupid Dogs, Homeward Bound, tons of stuff where talking dogs can be referred to as "the talking dog." Just redirect this to list of fictional dogs. Or talking animals. Probably talking animals. But who knows. Anyway, redirecting it to a character on POWERPUFF GIRLS is just wrong. Seriously, guys. ThisGuy62 18:40, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

- Retarget per nom – there are many more dogs in the list of fictional dogs that can talk, so this would be a good compromise. The dog from the Powerpuff Girls could be listed there as well. Melsaran (talk) 18:19, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, that particular dog is not really that notable, except for powerpuff girls fans maybe. It's a recurring character of PPG, and it doesn't have big roles in that show either. TheBlazikenMaster 20:40, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
