High school studentAdolescence[edit]

The result of the debate was retarget to High school. WjBscribe 06:53, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

High school students aren't necessarily teenagers, there are some high school students that are adults too. Also keep in mind that in different countries, there could be someone over the age of 20 that's a high school student. So please change this to something else. I'm an adult myself and I'm a high school student. (though the article could apply to be since I'm 18 and that's 13-19) But still, I happen to know a guy in my school that's over 20. Please change this to something else, high school students aren't only teenagers. TheBlazikenMaster 19:45, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to high school, more appropriate for the reasons explained above.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 22:08, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Just because a small minority of person in high school might not be in adolescence does mean it should be changed. The large majority are in adolescence. In your example you refer to yourself as an adult by law not by development stage if you are still 18 and living in the United State. --Jerm (Talk/ Contrib) 17:12, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • So you're suggesting it shouldn't be re-targeted because of what's common in the United States? If you are then you are forgetting that Wikipedia is supposed to apply worldwide. And no, I don't live in the United States where I live you simply cannot quit high school when you reach the age 18. Sure most of the high school students are teens, but there are adults too. • Retarget - to high school. Adolescents aren't usually classified (by age) by what grade they are in. Reginmund 01:52, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to high school as the clearly most sensible option here. Terraxos 03:45, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget indeed. All the arguments for the current redirect are spurious and those for retargetting are fully valid — IMHO :-) GRM 14:19, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to High school. There's more(greater quantity) relevant information there. i kan reed 06:51, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
