What's happening to my body → Adolescence[edit]
has been tagged rfd for 3 weeks but never linked here apparently. Do we know what's happening to the user's body is adolescence rather than cancer, flatulence, or MRSA? No one is going to search this term for adolescence. The joke's gone on long enough, let's get rid of this before the joke's on us. Carlossuarez46 20:40, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- That's actually the title for a fairly popular series of books on adolescence. I'm not seeing any evidence that the redirect was created in bad faith. And it has been out there since March 2004 without creating controversy. I am not convinced that any of the books are sufficiently notable to deserve an independent article but the redirect seems plausible. Rossami (talk) 22:17, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I do think the books call for a redirect. Although if anyone wants to write an article on them... Abeg92contribs 11:15, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
U.S .Open (tennis) → U.S. Open (tennis)[edit]
No page moves, I suggest deletion as unneeded self reference.Kanabekobaton 09:17, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- It's not a self-reference. I assume you mean to delete it because of the typo (U.S . versus U.S.) - Mtmelendez (Talk) 10:45, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, crap. Now I get it. The article was originally in U.S. Open (tennis), then moved to US Open (tennis), and then removed to U.S .Open (tennis). No vandalism, just disagreements over the article's naming. I'm gonna be bold and fix this mess. - Mtmelendez (Talk) 11:03, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- I think the U.S . is in fact wrong and should be changed so that the U.S. page gets all of the article and talk and edit history. I tried to just move it to the U.S. page, but I guess that name already exists. So I came here. Whoever created the page in the first place should have made sure it was spelled correctly. Wikipedia Awards → Wikipedia:Awards[edit]
Cross-namespace redirect which was originally created in May 24, 2007. No page moves, incoming links, or significant history, only the redirect's creation. A quick google search reveals that searching for this exact term quickly points to Wikipedia:Awards and to Category:Wikipedia awards, even with mixed capitalization or with all lower case spelling. So, I suggest deletion as unneeded self reference. Mtmelendez (Talk) 04:11, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
