March 26[edit]

List of charismatic leadersList of charismatic leaders as defined by Max Weber's classification of authority[edit]

The result of the debate was keep. John Reaves (talk) 17:33, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This re-direct causes confusion becaus the word "charisma" in everyday usage differs significantly from Weber's use of the term. Andries 22:48, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep It's a valid point, but the shorter redirect probably is meant to save on the typing. YechielMan 18:59, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Just an abbreviated version. bibliomaniac15 05:36, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • No, not "just an abbreviated version." the term charisma is used in different ways and Weber's use of the term is signigicantly different from commom usage of the term. The list suffers from a contributors who does not know or understand the difference. Andries 12:42, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Not an ideal target but probably the best option until either (a) the target is deleted or (b) another potential target is written allowing for a disambig page... WjBscribe 05:08, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Avtonomna Respublika Krym Autonomous Republic, UkraineCrimea[edit]

The result of the debate was delete. WjBscribe 05:05, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see a sence to this redirect, it contains a translit of the name from Ukrainian and the partily English name: Avtonomna Respublika Krym Autonomous Republic, Ukraine (with translation) yields Autonomous Republic of Crimea Autonomous Republic, Ukraine. Not likely to be used in searching. —dima/s-ko/ 02:23, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe in myselfFreethought[edit]

The result of the debate was delete. WjBscribe 05:03, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect was created by a new user who has recently been blocked for vandalism. Redirect doesn't really make sense: you'd think that "I believe in myself" would mean "self-esteem", not "Freethought", although I don't think it's necessary at all. --Charlene 07:42, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete apparently a newbie mistake. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 13:11, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete — an utterly improbable search term, and inappropriate target. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 20:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Authority Having Jurisdictionconstruction#authority having jurisdiction[edit]

The result of the debate was keep and {{sofixit}}. John Reaves (talk) 17:35, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the term "authority having jursidiction" may not necessarily be unique to the construction field. 38.100.34.2 21:27, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've never heard of it myself. Is there an example of another field that uses this exact term? --- RockMFR 03:38, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. This search shows a lot of use in construction, but also show significant use outside if you look past the first few pages. --Shirahadasha 06:01, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • The reason that I listed this in RFD is that it is linked to by the glossary of firefighting terms. 38.100.34.2 00:05, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
