List of largest settlements in England by populationList of largest urban sub-divisions in England by population[edit]

The result of the debate was speedy close - RfD is not the place to resolve editorial disputes. Discussion on the relevant talkpages (and potentially the dispute resolution process) is needed in this case. WjBscribe 00:48, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The page List of largest settlements in England by population was redirected to List of largest urban sub-divisions in England by population. This is inaccurate as, per the source document for the population figures, a settlement has a maximum population of 1,500. For this reason the title was misleading. This page is subject to an ongoing content dispute and unilateral action by the nominating editor. The matter has been raised on WP:AN/I#Disruption arising from a Content Dispute where further information is available. Until the matter is resolved, I suggest this request be speedily removed if that is possible.  DDStretch  (talk) 21:15, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A redirect is not appropriate and User:EarlyBird is simply trying to twist facts and push a POV agenda to promote Manchester. His actions are not appropriate and show no consideration for other users of Wikipedia79.73.183.95 23:30, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Registered User:Mark bickley redirecting the talk page of the dynamic IP he currently happens to be using to his own talk page. --Kurt Shaped Box 23:48, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey sorry Kurt Shaped Box, I created the redirect because I kept forgetting to log in before editing and I dont check the talk page of my IP, so had anyone wanted to discuss any edits I made with my IP rather than my account, then they could add it on my account talk page and I would notice it. user talk:Mark bickley 18:15 22nd July '07
Though I wonder if it is allowed for Mark bickley to remove the RfD notice that was already in place, I think his voluntary undoing of the redirect cures this problem, so I suggest that the discussion be speedy closed as moot. EdJohnston 17:31, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
