Multidrug-resistant tuberculosisTuberculosis treatment[edit]

The result of the debate was retarget to multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis, as an obvious alternative hyphening. Melsaran (formerly Salaskаn) 13:45, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure whether Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis should redirect to multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis or to tuberculosis treatment. Right now the redirect points to tuberculosis treatment. Although the multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis article is a more obvious target, the tuberculosis treatment article may be better written. Ultimately, I'd like the redirect to point to whichever of the two is more factually accurate, and this determination should be made either by community consensus or by an expert.

How the articles were written is not relevant. The only difference between multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis is the hyphen, so it should redirect to the former. Simple as that. Melsaran (formerly Salaskаn) 13:44, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Genetic insights into the background of the KurdsOrigins of the Kurds[edit]

The result of the debate was delete. WjBscribe 04:52, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect had been inappropriately inserted into the WP:PROD process with the reasoning "useless redirect with excessive length." My feeling is that it should be deleted due to the potential for the title to be abused for POV purposes; the title implies that perhaps some of the current behavior and culture of the Kurds might be genetic ... which smacks of racism. An alternate redirect exists, Genetic origins of the Kurds, which is far more appropriate. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 16:35, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete I see the POV problem a little differently -- the genetic background of a people--any people-- is often used as a basis for national and territorial claims. But in any case the redirect is not of any use, except to make a POV point of one sort or another. DGG (talk)
  • Delete. Very inprobable search term, thus useless. Pavel Vozenilek 12:06, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you were the one that created the redirect in the first place, you may tag it with {{db-author}}. Also, please don't "vote" "delete per nom" when you nominated something yourself, this is misleading. Melsaran (formerly Salaskаn) 13:41, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
