Appears to be a completely nonsensical term. Not discussed in the target article Gavia immer (u|t|c) 19:02, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Delete. The article discusses the real world, the redirect is a made-up term. No hits except pages list, page itself, this page, etc. Not used even in Internet, which for a wiki-neologism means just not used. CP/M comm |Wikipedia Neutrality Project| 01:04, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jitter (culture)Skateboarding slang[edit]

The nominated redirect was Deleted. -- JLaTondre 01:33, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The term is not defined in the target article. Jtir 18:49, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • It might be worth reverting to the 38189072 version when this was still an article, back in February 2006, and then subjecting this to a full AfD to formally establish whether this term is worthy of inclusion. See Talk:Skateboarding_slang#Jitter_article, the discussion that occured when it was proposed that Jitter be merged into skateboarding slang. Since the content doesn't appear to have been used, I don't think the GFDL requires preservation of this history (same as any AfD'd article). I've left a note as a courtesy to the former article's original author, whose last edit was on 7 September 2006. BigNate37(T) 16:13, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • The discussion concluded with User:FreemDeem conceding that he had no verifiable source for the definition of the term. Perhaps that has changed. Jtir 19:20, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Turkish Cypriot GenocideCivilian casualties and displacements during the Cyprus conflict[edit]

The nominated redirect was Deleted. -- JLaTondre 01:33, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

POV fork against Pontian Greek Genocide, Armenian Genocide et.al. POV title ("genocide"!), conflicting title with article content (which specifies no genocidal actions whatsoever, plus lists Armenian and Greek casualties of similarly same small extent). •NikoSilver 09:55, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy Delete per nom. •NikoSilver 12:22, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy Delete per NikoSilver Hectorian 12:43, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Was created almost a year before Pontian Greek Genocide article, I dont know what proof you have that it was a pov fork against the Armenian Genocide article. The title may be a minority pov, but that is why it redirects. --A.Garnet 11:10, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • Ha! I was certain that you would fall for that one! And, this vote comes from the same person who has made the well-sourced Pontian Greek Genocide hostage with POV-title tags for months! Double standards exposed...•NikoSilver 14:02, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please, i was one of the people who agreed to redirect this page to Civilian casualties, so dont try and accuse me of double standards. I actually accept this is a minority extreme position, and unlike you, did not choose to create an article on it.--A.Garnet 14:14, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The difference is that the term "genocide" for the Turks is:
(1) Unheard of and completely unsourced. "Minority opinion" is a heavy overstatement!
(2) Inapplicable, since the article speaks about other etnicities too.
On the other hand, Pontian Greek Genocide, where you pov-ingly keep adding pov-title templates is:
(1) A majority opinion, recognised by scholars, US states, international groups etc
(2) Sourced to exhaustion.
Keep exposing your motives...•NikoSilver 14:31, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete There is no mention of an actual genocide in the pointed article, so even if this is a minority position, the only thing that indicates its existence is this redirect. --Michalis Famelis (talk) 13:40, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you look under further reading you will see "Gibbons, Harry Scott (1997). The Genocide Files. Charles Bravos Publishers. ISBN 0-95-144642-8." --A.Garnet 14:16, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
...which has been mysteriously dropped in there to blur the image and pretend it actually says something that supports the word "genocide" for the Turks, without ofcourse any direct quotes! •NikoSilver 14:31, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The word is there merely as the title of a book, not as an indication that genocide actually took place. I don't know what information from the book is incorporated in the article, but reading the article, one does not draw the conclusion that any genocide took place. Maybe someone put the reference there planning to write something there, I don't know. But the article itself does not even imply genocide. --Michalis Famelis (talk) 14:46, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No need to wonder Michali... Check history to see how it started. Obviously, instead of Turkish Cypriot Genocide (which was the article title then) being deleted in the first place, the other casualties were added too, requiring it to be renamed. After the rename, the redirect with the old name was created automatically, and it exists until today. •NikoSilver 15:02, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - to prevent this article from being created in the future, a redirect is fine. —Khoikhoi 20:19, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
