Splashdown (disambiguation)Splashdown[edit]

The nominated redirect was Kept. -- JLaTondre 00:20, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is an orphaned redirect page. All of its content is on the Splashdown page, and no pages link to this anymore. —Lantoka ( talk | contrib) 00:39, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Remember that if everything is working right, redirects are supposed to be orphaned. Being orphaned is not a reason to delete a redirect. This redirect was created as the result of a pagemove. Prior to the move, the page had history. This preserves the links if/when an old page (containing an old link) has to be restored. Found this one when cleaning up a double redirect from Pleasant Grove, Texas. Created 10/4/06, so it's not old. Robertb-dc 23:37, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

These are all CNRS; they are all extreme examples of self-reference, and the are all examples of "falling into the plumbing". Note that the well-formed shortcuts WP:1, WP:1.0, and various others exist already. Gavia immer (u|t|c) 19:22, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unused CNR; like the above, this is more or less the definition of "falling into the plumbing". Gavia immer (u|t|c) 19:22, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bringing Up BabyBringing up Baby[edit]

The nominated redirect was Belongs at WP:RM. -- JLaTondre 20:18, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In a title, "up" is usually not capitalized, unless it is part of a verbal phrase, which it is in this case. Therefore, the title of the film is properly Bringing Up Baby. Please delete this redirect so that Bringing up Baby can be moved there.—Chowbok 19:45, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This seems to be a case for Wikipedia:Requested moves. Please follow the procedure there. Kusma (討論) 20:15, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
