The initial phase of this project has been completed. The only thing left to do is to review the redlinks remaining in the original list to make sure no cities have been inadvertently skipped over. Please strikeout any cities once you have added an explanation as to why they should remain red-links. Consider adding redirects for bad spellings. Please remove cities if they become blue-linked. (Note that a trawl of the edit summaries indicates the reasons for dismissal of a number of these.)
