Editor hasn't edited in over a year, this is untouched since 2012. Abandoned test that's no generating an error. JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 03:17, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have no problem with that page being deleted. Regards - Anneke Bart --Anneke Bart (talk) 13:34, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Anthony Appleyard - The author has stated above she has no issues with this being deleted so what the hell is the point in declining the CSD?... This is a clear G7 by anyones standards –Davey2010Talk 11:58, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
In general you cannot use speedy deletion (the process) on a page that is already up for deletion, or that has been considered for deletion before. Speedy delete is also the valid outcome for a deletion discussion, but as that requires the page to be deleted such a discussion can only be closed by an admin (see WP:BADNAC) – so I undid your earlier non-admin closure.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 12:13, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But you can CSD something that's already up at M/AFD - I have absolutely no issues with you reverting my closure :) - I just find it stupid that someone declines a CSD just so a discussion can take place despite the author expressing there desire to delete it, MFDs never attract much !voters so I can't see how deleting it now would make any difference ? ... It'll only be deleted in a week or 2 so why not speed it up?, You want it gone, She wants it gone so G7 is the sensible option here as opposed to ignoring the author and then it getting deleted in a week anyway?... –Davey2010Talk 12:28, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, let the discussion continue and it will be closed. Based on the discussion so far the result will be delete, but I cannot determine it and nor can you – as non-admins we cannot actually do the deletion so cannot properly close it. There is no deadline, there is no urgency to close this, certainly not after only a day.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 13:35, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yup may aswell leave it open, Anyway thanks –Davey2010Talk 13:46, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
