The result of the discussion was: keep . Consensus is that given its level of completeness (as opposed to being two lines and a broken infobox) and the lack of community consensus to delete or otherwise do away with portals, there is no reason to delete or redirect. ♠PMC(talk) 23:22, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete portals should all be deleted. They are a really bad idea, so 1990s Legacypac (talk) 11:57, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Portals should not be deleted, they are Wikipedia history. Discuss at Wikipedia_talk:Portal#Portals_are_moribund. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:20, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep until/unless a much wider discussion about portals has taken place. This one has enough content to be a reasonable introduction to Wikipedia's coverage of the topic. -- John of Reading (talk) 06:11, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. As noted by John of Reading and SmokeyJoe, a consensus on if and how to deprecate portals should be developed. VQuakr (talk) 15:07, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
