Draft:Ray Carr[edit]

Draft:Ray Carr (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

There is no reason to believe that this draft will be accepted into article space prior to 2038 (the end of the world??), at least in its present form with its present author, who quacks like an undisclosed paid editor, and won't give a straight answer to whether he currently has a conflict of interest. Maybe Ray Carr is notable, although shouting by User:CVActor1 doesn't establish notability. If some neutral editor wants to make this into a neutral draft that is worth considering for article space, I suggest that they do so within the 7 days. • Delete he's been yelling on my talk (transfered to the Draft talk) and clearly is connected to the subject. Citing a newspaper article from this week as the reason subject is notable is not going to cut it. We've wasted way too much time here. Legacypac (talk) 02:09, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - We don't do an effective job of dealing with COI by individual flacks. We do an effective job of dealing with COI when there is sockpuppetry also. I would prefer to block the user, but I haven't seen users get blocked for individual cases of COI, so deleting the draft is what we have to do. Robert McClenon (talk) 10:30, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. The draft is somewhat promotional and not notable, and users are complaining that the author is being obnoxious. Let's send him on his way. Compassionate727 (T·C) 13:01, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. No hope whatsoever here. Killing it and salting the title would be a mercy.--Calton | Talk 13:50, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
