The result of the discussion was Keep. It has been agreed upon that "United States Academic Decathlon Curriculum (2010–2011)" is an appropriate topic for a book. NW (Talk) 00:51, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Book:The Great Depression and Geology[edit]

I originally moved this book to User:EvilPizza/Books/The Great Depression and Geology (2) on the grounds that this book has a rather weird scope (Great Depression, Music, Geology, ...), and seems to be geared towards the needs of a particular community, rather than the public at large. Books located in the Book: namespace should have one particular topic, not several, and they shouldn't be tailored to a specific community, but rather to the general readership.

This is a textbook example of a userbook, IMO. That is, a book where the user has complete control over the content of the book and which can be tailored to fit the needs of whomever the user wants, provided it complies with policies on the biographies of living persons and whatnot, . However, EvilPizza objected and recreated the book again. Normally, books like these are userfied, and I would argue for userfication, but considering that User:EvilPizza/Books/The Great Depression and Geology and User:EvilPizza/Books/The Great Depression and Geology (2) already exists and are duplicates of Book:The Great Depression and Geology, I see little point in keeping Book:The Great Depression and Geology.
