Direct-quadrature-zero transformation[edit]

Direct-quadrature-zero transformation

I made some changes to the page and they were removed immediately. I don't understand why! there are several inaccuracies in the page 173.66.144.197 (talk) 01:42, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You may wish to discuss this with Binnenstaat at Talk:Direct-quadrature-zero transformation. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 04:38, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

help[edit]

isbn:9787500600053、 7500600054 why cant find this isbn,When I add isbn to create a reference DENG HUICHEN (talk) 04:36, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I can see the book, click here:ISBN 9787500600053 ISBN 7500600054. If you search 9787500600053、 7500600054, an error will appear. You need to search them separately. :MAL MALDIVE (talk) 06:38, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@등혜진: Those are the ISBN-13 and ISBN-10 for the same book. There's no reason to include both in a reference; just use the 13-digit one. Deor (talk) 23:02, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Moving page without a Redirect[edit]

Hello how can i move a page without leaving a Redirect? User: MAL MALDIVE (talk) 11:47, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

MAL MALDIVE, you can use Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests if it is uncontroversial and ask not to leave a redirect. You may have to explain to the page mover why a redirect is not needed. If it is controversial then use Wikipedia:Requested moves. TSventon (talk) 12:06, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, i wanted to move some unsourced page to draftspace User: MAL MALDIVE (talk) 12:46, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
According to WP:ATD-I moving articles to draft space should generally be done only for newly created articles (typically as part of new page review) or as the result of a deletion discussion. If you do draftify you can tag the redirect for deletion with Template:Db-r2. TSventon (talk) 13:16, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

R. H. Hunt[edit]

Hi, Under Works/Projects by architect, R. H. Hunt, the second structure listed is the Austin Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church, South, 1300 Austin Ave., Waco, TX is NOT on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark by the Texas Historical Commission. I obtained both TX historical markers. For more info., see: https://www.tshaonline.org/handbook/entries/austin-avenue-united-methodist-church-waco I authored this article for the Handbook of Texas. Thanks, T. Bradford Willis, DDS, MSD Waco, TX T.B. Willis (talk) 18:47, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@T.B. Willis Thanks, I updated the article because the NRHP archive didn't have the entry as it was supposed to do and the web link you suggested seems reliable. If you have more suggestions where you don't want to make the change yourself, possibly owing to a conflict of interest, please do so on the Talk Pages of the relevant articles. Hello, do you have a question about Wikipedia? Remsense 19:03, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
hi,yes, sorry, how do I make a page? I’m gonna research deeper, just wanted to see if the topic already had an article 98.118.50.14 (talk) 19:06, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I usually recommend that new editors get some experience contributing to existing articles first. Failing that, check out Help:Your first article. Remsense 19:12, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
understood! would there be anywhere i could recommend current contributors to dive into the subject? 98.118.50.14 (talk) 20:33, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure! Wikipedia:Requested articles/music/Performers, bands and songwriters seems to be precisely the page to put such a request. Remsense 20:35, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
... to put such a request to no effect. "Requested articles" stay just that: requested, not created. 126.255.98.21 (talk) 22:11, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's the beauty of Wikipedia, really. No one has to do anything. Remsense 22:13, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dump or Featured Pictures[edit]

Is there a dump for the Featured Pictures wiki? Cliff (talk) 19:27, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Images may be found on mirrors, but AFAIK there aren't 'dumps' of media like there are for article content, you'd need to go through the list and download them yourself. Q T C 19:31, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is there a way to download it recursively and automatically? Asking for technical user. I love all the featured pictures, too! Fabi Fuu 76 (talk) 16:29, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
