Incorrect title Olle road[edit]

The title for this page should be Jeju Olle Trail — Preceding unsigned comment added by Violinpatrick (talkcontribs) 00:08, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You can request a move at WP:RM, but is Olle road the common name? RudolfRed (talk) 00:30, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Olle Road is not a common name. This entry is the only example of it being referred to as 'road'. In official literature, it is is called 'trail' or the Korean word 'gil'.121.145.161.164 (talk) 02:28, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Email[edit]

How do I email an article on Wikipedia to another interested party? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Virginiarebel (talkcontribs) 00:39, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just copy the URL of the article you are reading from your browser's window, and paste it into the body of your e-mail. --65.30.42.159 (talk) 04:07, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Emailing the link is usually the best option, but you can also use the 'Print/export' option on the menu (← see, left) to create a PDF that could be sent as an attachment. 74.60.29.141 (talk) 04:22, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Note that the first method is dynamic while the second method is static. That is, any later changes will show up when they click on the link, but not if you've made a PDF of it as it is now. StuRat (talk) 05:23, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sharebox is a script that reorders your toolbox. It adds new buttons that make it easier to mail, print or share an article on Facebook or another linksharing service. You must have an account to add Sharebox to the sidebar. See User:TheDJ/Sharebox for more information. --— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 15:51, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Banksy[edit]

<Unsourced negative information about possibly living people removed> — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.196.130.85 (talk) 04:38, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Mr Harris. I have removed your contribution completely, because it contains unsourced negative information about people who may be living, contrary to our policy on WP:Biography of living persons. This is not in order to censor you: such information may be included in an article, if it is referenced to a reliable published source, and if the consensus is that it is appropriate in the article.
What I suggest you do is to post on Talk:Banksy the information you would like added to the article, with the reliable independent sources that verify it, and ask other editors to add it to the article. Information which is only from your personal knowledge, or from unpublished sources, is not acceptable in Wikipedia, especially if it refers to living people. --ColinFine (talk) 00:42, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Christmas...Louise Robey is English also....I have a British passport....I was just born in Canada...both my parents are British....I live in France....and my son, the future Duke of ST.Albalns and great x a few grandson of King Charles 2...look up the recent movie "Anonymous" with a brilliant cast based on him as he is Lord Vere...Cheers all — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.50.178.173 (talk) 08:29, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you have reliable sources that can verify what you are claiming then feel free to add this information to the appropriate articles. Cheers, -Thibbs (talk) 20:45, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

editing rejected[edit]

Greek Helsinki Monitor (GHM) introduced an update in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Romani_rights_cases_before_international_courts_and_quasi-judicial_bodies#cite_note-3 with the missing Roma cases GHM has been successful with in these courts or bodies but it was rejected - what a pity! we do not have time to do that again and anyway we do not understand why it was rejected — Preceding unsigned comment added by Greek Heslinki Monitor (talkcontribs) 09:06, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of Romani rights cases before international courts and quasi-judicial bodies (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
I see that you have discovered how to re-instate your edit. Your edits have made the table very hard to understand - the markup for tables is quite tricky and is very unforgiving. Each row of this table is defined by exactly five lines of markup:
|-
| text to appear in the month/year column
| text to appear in the ECHR case (application no.) column
| text to appear in the year column
| text to appear in the Case (UN treaty body) column
If you can't see how to fix up your edits, it might be better to undo them and explain your intention on the talk page, Talk:List of Romani rights cases before international courts and quasi-judicial bodies, so that another editor can do it.
I have removed ClueBot's warning message from your talk page, as I think the software made a mistake, and have left you some introductory links instead. -- John of Reading (talk) 17:17, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

article for re-submission[edit]

I am trying to submit an article entitled "Mohamad Jebara" I was told it was not accepted last time because there were peacock terms being used. I made some changes to the article and would like to see if it is suitable this time. However, I cannot find a place on the page to re-submit it for approval. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marwa609 (talkcontribs) 13:18, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please use the link provided in the decline template at the page you wish to resubmit: "You are encouraged to make improvements by clicking on the "Edit" tab at the top of this page. When you are ready to resubmit, click here." Jarkeld (talk) 13:33, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Volunteer?[edit]

For some reason Template:Autobiography/doc seems to attract narcissists who believe it's where they're supposed to record their life story for our collective benefit. The latest befuddled editor to do so is User:Passy975 who blessed us all with his very own autobiography (which was reverted) and in his latest installment has treated us to a synopsis of his latest novel—a thriller, of course! Anyone care with a lotta love and patience want to take this one on? -- DanielPenfield (talk) 14:59, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted and left a tailored message on the user's talk page.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:30, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Delete revesion i made[edit]

How to made a deletion of a revision that I made, without leave athe ugly grey record of page history and my contributions records. Estartenf843h3er201105 (talk) 16:28, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For most pages this can't be done, since Wikipedia's licensing requires that every edit be attributable to its editor. There are very limited exceptions, described here and here. However, if you are asking about a page in your own user space, for example your user page, then you can ask for the page to be deleted entirely by adding {{db-u1}} at the top. Once an administrator has deleted it, you will be able to recreate it with a fresh history. Your edits to the deleted page will not show in your contributions list. -- John of Reading (talk) 17:03, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
What if i want to only remove ONE revision only of a page in your own user space.Estartenf843h3er201105 (talk) 09:41, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have looked through your contributions to "User" and "User talk" pages, and can't see anything that could fall under the limited exceptions (revision deletion, oversight). If I've missed something, feel free to send a private request via Requests for oversight. Don't post any more details here. -- John of Reading (talk) 11:15, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Jamie hymowitz — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.140.23.229 (talk) 16:56, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you have an improvement to make to an article, preferably with a reference to a reliable published source, which you say you have, you are welcome to edit the article. If you don't feel confident in doing that, it is best to edit the article's talk page to add the suggestion just as you have done here, so that editors who are interested in that article may make use of your contribution. --ColinFine (talk) 00:53, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

HI, My name is Stephen ANdrew Moller and i just wanted to let you know that there is an article in your wikipedia saying that i am a murderer and that i hit someone because they were gay. We have a pretty heavy law suit going on now for slander and i was asked to contact the publishers or the publishers site and ask for it to be removed before further action is taken. In the final reading of the case i plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter. I then served 2 years in confinement. The reason that i hit Sean was because he hit me first. This is where the problem came form in the very beginning, the first on site of the investigation they did not know what happened. They assumed that was the reason. IT then took three months for a video of the whole thing to be sent in to law enforcement. Then they seen where i was struck in the face first threw a car window and then i got out and hit back one time!!!!! IT is not fair for my name to be slandered all over the site for some woman to receive funds supporting gays and lesbians. THere were several there documents that were turned in from other people who knew Sean's mother and Step father, THey kicked him out of the house because he was gay. Also the mother didn't even wait but 12 hours before she pulled the plug on her son. Also it was never stated in the papers but there was another girl who picked Sean up and dropped him on his head three times. THe FBI even said that it was not a hate crime and they dismissed the charge of a hate crime. It was then published by Paul Salviggio that it was not anything to do with the victim being gay. Please assist me in this manner getting the changes on your site. THanks a lot and Merry Christmas!!!! "Fee required" tag?[edit]

Is there a suitable tag for references which require a fee to view? (Not necessarily a subscription) E.g.:[1], source [4] from: [article]   ~E : 74.60.29.141 (talk) 20:51, 25 December 2012 (UTC) Never-mind ~E:74.60.29.141 (talk) 21:03, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
