Reason
A fine image of a fairly interesting suffragette, albeit one who really needs an article expansion. It's probably worth pointing out that fade-out at the bottom was a very 1910s-1920s style thing.

  • Support. Resolution can be improved with a higher-quality scan of the original, I suppose, but this is sufficient. Per nominator, the blurring at the bottom is a feature, I suppose — as well as illustrating the subject of the portrait, this image illustrates a now-largely-forgotten aspect of artistic photography of the period.
