  • I think you are good editor here, your account has been around since mid-late 2006 and you've made a healthy number of contributions to this encyclopedia, your efforts here are outstanding but all I can suggest is using an edit summary a little more as its only 70-80% and getting your article talk page and Wikipedia talk edits up a little, apart from that your doing good! Well done. Kindest regards - The Sunshine Man 17:24, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • A fair few edits here (nice one!). However, your edit summary usage: 71% for major edits and 80% for minor edits. This better than some I have seen, but it could be higher. I admit that using the edit summary isn't always practical, but it would be nice to see it higher. You are a good editor, reverting a bit of vandalism here and there, but mainly on maintainence jobs such as tagging pages (eg for intro rewrite, and deletion). Also, a fair few waning templates posted by you, reflecting the amount of vandalism that you get rid of, or something like that. A basic summary: use the edit summary a little bit more (your doing well, just a target to do a bit better!), and you have a good balance of anti-vandal/content edits. The only thing is talk a little bit more, (even though i may be a bit of a hypocrite!) and edit summary. You are a good editor, and should keep up the great work! • In my opinion, I believe that you need more mainspace edits (and article creation). Also, if you are interested in becoming an admin, knowing policies are crucial. If you don't know where are what to edit, ask ask SuggestBot. Best wishes! Real96 20:42, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • You need to be aware Wikipedia has a manual of style and be well versed in it, if you intend to pursue adminship. Also, when reverting good faith edits you should consider using an edit summary (instead of "Twinkle").[1] Matthew 21:18, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Since you asked :) Just some general things that good users should do, instead of vandal-fighting all the time... a lot of active users spend too much time on RCP, because it's a really easy way to up that edit count, but these things are important and shouldn't be overlooked.
    • Check out articles you find on Special:Random - often you'll get ones that are a little unloved, and could do with some adoption. Copyedit stuff instead of just tagging it for someone else to do. Tags are bad!
    • Go on the prod patrol - sometimes people tag articles for prod because they look a little crufty/unwikified/unsourced, when sometimes all they need is a bit of a polish.
    • See all those band articles? Now, see all those colourful images lined up in the discography section? Remove them. Fair use galleries are not allowed. Also consider checking them out to see if they have rationales - if not, tag them for deletion and notify the author.
    • If you find something on FAC that interests you, try giving it a bit of a copyedit - sometimes article writers look at the articles so often, they stop noticing those tiny little grammatical errors and spelling mistakes! They'll love you for it.
  • So yep, there you have it - just some things that folks should do more often instead of just relying on good old TW to make those edits :) Cheers, Riana 14:33, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Mostly WP:RCP and WP:NPP, which I enjoy. P.S. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who makes Twinkle and NPWatcher possible. Their value increases exponentially every time I use them.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I haven't any problems (yet!), except for a hit-and-run troll on my talk page.
