Spiral race to the edge #3: "Raisin' Cain" / "Haunted Island"

Another grid of two interlocked spirals, but this time both paths start in the centre. Words can be added following the purple path or the orange path. Both paths spiral outward.

The starting words are bolded, and the final words, at the end of the spiraling paths, should be bolded too.

The previous game started with Bormahan (orange) and Gorgeted puffleg (purple) and spiralled out to Treaty of Defensive Alliance (Bolivia–Peru) and Woodcutting respectively. Orange won, three steps ahead of Purple.
