Actually, upon further investigation, it appears that this may be the same user on both accounts. User:Tyranny Sue is a redirect to User:TyrS, which is a bit of an unlikely coincidence in my opinion. Hi, I'm the only user (that I know of) of either account (i.e. both accounts - are they separate?) but I log in the same way every time. I'm kind of confused about it actually. My primary reasoning for changing my username from the single letter was the criticism in which it created cross wiki those years ago. There was no objection to the usurpation of the target username, in this case current username JamesR. I do not wish to have this request fulfilled and suggest a different username for the user requesting this. My username is known across many Wikimedia wikis, including foundation and meta, and also for my contributions to local Wikimedia chapters. I followed all procedures per the usurpation guidelines, including notifying the target username and filing a request. The only reason I started this, is because he has made only 1 edit in last 4 years and I thought I could end my SUL. But now he objected. Could you rename me to Steadfast(enwiki) or Steadfast-enwiki and add it to my SUL "Steadfast"? And can you tell me, how I delete my accounts I accidentally made as "Plzmergethis" at the other wikis? I'm inclined to agree to rename you to Steadfastxxx, because it seems the other user has no interest in editing here and there's therefore no chance of confusion, but I'd welcome other crat opinion. To the best of my knowledge, we aren't able to add a differently named account to an SUL. Perhaps a Steward can, it's beyond my knowledge. Anyone? We don't delete accounts, but you can contact the crats at other wikis and request they rename those accounts, but you'll need to explain to them why they should bother to do this. --Dweller (talk) 14:04, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
I don't think CentralAuth (i.e. SUL) supports different names in the same unified login. Since the requesting user used "Steadfast" only on a small number of wikis to actually edit, I would suggest he requests a rename to a completely unused name at de-wiki and then requests that those few used accounts (like here or at commons) are renamed afterwards. That way he can get a completely unified account and since he was renamed on de-wiki etc., he can re-register those accounts and create a redirect to the new name.
