Did you read what I wrote? I don't want an usurpation because it's MY account. I want the accounts to stay where they are like they used to be. It's someone on wikipedia that decided to split them so it's a simple rename to my old account name. Andrew (talk) 09:26, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User accounts used to be local to each of the WMF's projects. They were unified in 2015 and for a short period at that time it was possible to identify your separate accounts and have them merged. That is no longer possible.
Before Andrew1~enwiki is renamed to Andrew1, Andrew1 will be renamed to something else, Andrew1 (usurped) is the default unless you have a different preference. The global usage of your accounts is : Andrew1, Andrew1~enwiki. - Cabayi (talk) 07:16, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
