The result of the discussion was: keep (non-admin closure) Marcocapelle (talk) 06:50, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: This category was deleted at as part of a mass CfD of similar categories at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2021 January 10#Category:Order of Saint_Michael. The rationale was: "Not defining. Some of the many orders of chivalry awarded to heads of state, consorts and sovereign family members. They are rarely mentioned in the articles, and are certainly not regarded as significant." A discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2021 October 22 concluded that this category should be relisted separately. This is a procedural nomination, I am neutral. • Comment This category is empty. Liz Read! Talk! 20:26, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • It had been emptied since deletion; I've reverted it to its previous state after the deletion review. RickMorais (talk) 02:15, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The category refers to recipients of the Military Order of the Tower and Sword, which was and still is the most senior award in the Portuguese honours system and the highest award conferred to by the Portuguese government. In that regard, as I pointed out in the review discussion, it was mischaracterised in the original deletion discussion and it is just about as defining a characteristic, as required by WP:OCAWARD, as other similar categories like Category:Recipients of the Legion of Honour or Category:Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients. RickMorais (talk) 02:15, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per RickMorais. Thriley (talk) 05:08, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep -- I think this falls within the exception to OCAWARD, since it is the premier award in the Portuguese honours system. In some countries some awards are given so often that a category is undesirable. In other cases it is a diplomatic souvenir awarded on a state visit by a head of state. The result of the discussion was: rename to Category:Academies of arts. bibliomaniac15 03:50, 14 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: While most of the members capitalise "Academy of Arts" as part of a proper name, I think that this one should not be capitalised per MOS:CAPS. ~~~~

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Marcocapelle (talk) 04:50, 8 November 2021 (UTC) [reply]
  • Support this is a category of academies where arts are the main focuses of study. Not academies called variations of "Academies of Art[s]". Therefore, capitilising "Arts" doesn't make any real sense. SSSB (talk) 11:41, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - this is a speedy. Oculi (talk) 19:08, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Non-defining. * Pppery * it has begun... 01:05, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. It's kinda cool but is otherwise trivial. --Lenticel (talk) 07:32, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
