Nominator's rationale: Too little content. Upmerge child categories as appropriate. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 22:13, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: keep. ~ Rob13Talk 04:18, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: We don't need a scheme of artists by record label nationality (and, in fact, we don't as this is miscategorized under Category:Artists by record label). This is a trivial fact that doesn't help with navigation. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 22:40, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I created it because a similar category exists for South Korean labels. And the category actually helps navigation a lot because if you are into J-pop you get to browse only the categories related go Japan. Actually, the category has already helped me a lot. --Moscow Connection (talk) 22:54, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Marcocapelle (talk) 20:30, 29 January 2019 (UTC) [reply]
  • Procedural keep Per Moscow Connection, deleting just this category for this reason doesn't make much sense; if you believe the concept shouldn't have a category, renominate this one with the South Korean category. Nyttend (talk) 23:53, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Zen Circus albums[edit]

The result of the discussion was: keep. Withdrawn, band article has been resurrected and seems likely more album articles will be created, rendering my original rationale invalid. ♠PMC(talk) 07:53, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Single-entry category of redlink band. Might become useful/necessary if the band ever becomes notable enough to have its own article along with all their other albums, but at this point it is not much use. ♠PMC(talk) 07:31, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I'm going to see if I can recover the Zen Circus article as it was deleted via PROD three years ago, and I'll see if I can make something of it from the info at https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zen_Circus. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 16:45, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars, I can undelete it for you if you want. Still raises the question of whether a category is necessary when we only have one album article though, unless you're planning to write some of those as well? ♠PMC(talk) 03:56, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • The category should stay regardless of its size. To quote WP:SMALLCAT: small categories are ok if "such categories are part of a large overall accepted sub-categorization scheme, such as subdividing songs in Category:Songs by artist". Pichpich (talk) 17:22, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I think it's quite likely that the band is notable since there's a lengthy well-referenced article on the Italian Wikipedia (it:Zen Circus) as well as articles on the German and Spanish Wikipedias. If the PROD is overturned, then the category should stay. Pichpich (talk) 20:12, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: speedy delete by RHaworth per G8. — JJMC89(T·C) 06:04, 31 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Follows the same format as Category:Paid contributions with no listed employer. Its also makes more sense grammatically (imo). DannyS712 (talk) 04:26, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
