Delete. Perimeter security can be somewhat ambiguous since even landscaping and cameras affect this. The perimeter security for the United States, includes dogs, cameras, motion sensors, ships, cars, ATVs, inspection stations, RADAR, robots and who knows what else. Vegaswikian (talk) 23:55, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
rename per nom to fix capitalization. A perfectly legitimate category for an associated set of articles. Serves the purpose of WP navigation to articles, which is the purpose of categories. Hmains (talk) 02:17, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Support Rename to address capitalization and group by this defining common characteristic. Alansohn (talk) 04:00, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
So this is a defining characteristic for robots and metal bars? And if you are asking, yes, there are at least two three robots on duty. Vegaswikian (talk) 18:43, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
rename, if kept -- However, I do not know if we need it. Peterkingiron (talk) 00:10, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Support Rename. The concept do not have clearly defined borders, ironically enough. But it's in wide use. The common characteristic of the elements is not a property of the objects but a property of their use. EverGreg (talk) 09:54, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Rename as suggested, but don't delete. I agree with EverGreg. As an example, guard dog probably qualifies for the category, but dog doesn't. Tijfo098 (talk) 11:42, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Delete -- I gather listifying is not needed. This is what we always do with award categories. Peterkingiron (talk) 00:12, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale:Delete; nebulous and ill- or un-defined categorization, e.g. are these (contemporary jazz) albums, or contemporary (jazz albums)? See WP:CFD#Category:Contemporary_jazz_musicians from Sept 2010 (if I had seen this category at the time, I would have included it in that earlier discussion). Contemporary jazz is now a disambig. page, as per WT:JAZZ discussion. All articles in this category already fall within (at least) another, better-named subcategory of Category:Jazz albums. Gyrofrog (talk) 16:26, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. The term could mean a number of things so the category has no clearly defined inclusion criteria. Jafeluv (talk) 16:43, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Delete in line wth previous discussion on the name ambiguity. AllyD (talk) 08:02, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale:Merge. Two very similar categories. Proposed new title is Comparative politics to match main article of both. Tijfo098 (talk) 15:45, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that is what I mean. Tijfo098 (talk) 10:05, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Just merged the articles in this category together into a single article Sri Sumangala College. Potential for more articles is low. AIRcorn(talk) 10:37, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: 1) R&B (genre), 2) soul (genre), 3) musicians (occupation), 4) Pennsylvania (state), 5) Philadelphia (city). Overcategorization, or, more accurately, complete overkill. There's need to narrow down categories this much. — ξxplicit 05:50, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was:speedy delete: creator has requested deletion and replacement now exists. Good Ol’factory(talk) 08:38, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: I made a mistake when creating this page today. The title should have been "Recorder" (not "Record"). "Record sonatas by George Frideric Handel" makes no sense, so a redirect is not applicable. The category is empty, and I have created the Category:Recorder sonatas by George Frideric Handel replacement category. Apologies for getting it wrong. HWV258. 02:27, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
