Fails to meet general notability guideline WP:GNG, specifically the topic is not covered in significant detail in multiple independent reliable sources. It is mentioned trivially (as part of one sentence) in a handful of articles, and in slightly more detail on the barely-RS DC Magnates website. Independent coverage does not provide enough material with which to an acceptable, properly-referenced article, let alone establish its notability. Agyle (talk) 21:26, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - not notable, per nom. (I initially tagged it as WP:CSD#A7 because it makes no claim to notability but that was declined because I hadn't noticed it specifically excludes software.) BethNaught (talk) 07:49, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge into Bitcoin -- it is a fork of Bitcoin and could be clumped there with other forks of the same.BennyHillbilly (talk) 08:30, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
In January, the last time journalists seemed to keep count, about 15 new cryptocurrencies were introduced per day, all forks of Bitcoin. I'm not sure what the current total is, but it's at least in the hundreds, if not the thousands. I'm pretty sure there is no interest in listing non-notable variants in Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency. Lists of cryptocurrencies have also been deleted through the AfD process. With no reliable secondary sources about most of them, there is generally little that can be said except to repeat whatever claims their promoters make. This is the case with Zetacoin.
