In case he must have an article for his discography, Zac is a singer ?, what an absurd thing. — Philip J Fry talk 02:44, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - the article says Zac Efron is a singer as well as an actor, and is too detailed to be merged with the article on Zac Efron. Vorbee (talk) 07:35, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Redirect to High School Musical discography, where it looks like a vast majority of the article was copied from. It doesn’t make sense for him to have his own discography when his work is as of a part of ensemble in soundtrack albums rather than as a solo artist. Sergecross73 msg me 11:31, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Im also open to redirecting to Zac Efron, where we can have a section that links to the HSM discography and/or Greatest Showman chart positions from one of its articles. My main concern is the redundancy that this article’s existence creates, not the redirect target. Sergecross73 msg me 18:44, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Sergecross73: I completely agree with the concern regarding redundancy. All information here can be found within other articles that can easily be navigated to from Efron's main page. — Miss Sarita 19:04, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to a section within the Zac Efron article or to the article itself. Although Efron is also a musician, he's better known for his acting and has never had a solo release (all songs are part of an ensemble as mentioned above). Majority of his music is within the High School Musical series, but a couple charted songs are from Hairspray and The Greatest Showman. — Miss Sarita 16:17, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • ETA alternative solution: I am currently working on a new list for Efron's filmography with plans to submit to AFC by the end of the weekend. I can merge the discography into this article and label it something like "List of Zack Efron performances" (as seen in List of Hugh Jackman performances). As it stands, I don't believe a standalone discography is warranted for this performer. — Miss Sarita 19:04, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep This article has only just been made recently and it wouldn't have been approved if it wasn't appropriate. Whilst Efron is mainly an actor, he is a singer as well and has a discography. A redirect to the High School Musical cast discography would be inappropriate as Efron has sang ouside of High School Musical. In short Efron has a discography which should either exist on it's own page or as a section on Efron's main page. Mn1548 (talk) 18:05, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is incorrect logic. An AFC-passes article is not immune to being deleted or redirected - it is passed or failed generally by a single editor who is holding it to the lowest of standards. The community can definitely over-ride that. Additionally, redirects are not required to encompass every aspect of a subject. But if that’s really a concern, as mentioned above, it could also just be redirected to Zac Efron, and his article could host the discography, or have a link to the HSM discography. Sergecross73 msg me 18:39, 4 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Zac Efron or a selective merge of his singles to the article. The albums listed are not his alone but film soundtracks, but he is credited in many songs according to Billboard [1], so those are valid information for the Zac Efron article. Hzh (talk) 23:38, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to a fleshed out Zac Efron#Discography section. Include a WIki-link to High School Musical for any albums from that genre that aren't his solo projects. WP:TOOSOON. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 02:12, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
