XPO, Inc. is not notable as its business has diluted over the years. I'm noticing a lot of the current sources focus on a previous version of the company and have become inaccurate. Based on my research, the company seems to have solely focused on trucking since 2021, and as it stands it does not meet Wikipedia's WP:GNG standards. Not all public companies are notable. • Delete Sourcing used in the article is routine business press. All I find are stories about their stock, a new CEO and the like. Does not meet CORP. Oaktree b (talk) 19:29, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - A simple BEFORE search of various U.S. publications shows continuing coverage to the present day for various issues, so there should be sufficient sources to demonstrate notability: 2021 wage theft, ties to DeJoy at the USPS, CNBC coverage of a spinoff, etc. SounderBruce 19:51, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - It looks like the current version of XPO owns all of the trucks and drivers. For example, the LA Times article you referenced focuses on STG and RXO which don't own the trucks, and were deemed non notable on Wikipedia. It seems to me like most of those trucks are not branded, and are driven by independent contractors after a quick look at the RXO website. I'm not sure that these sources establish notability for XPO today. Sneakerheadguy (talk) 13:45, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. 1. The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and New York Times citations readily establish notability. 2. There appears to be a fundamental mistake in this nomination, which implies that the company is not as notable as it used to be because it spun off RXO. By this logic, Lehman Brothers's article should be deleted because they are not around today and therefore no longer notable. Sorry, Sneakerheadguy, I hadn't noticed that you have rarely contributed at WP:AFD in the past and may not be perfectly familiar with all the nuances of WP:N. That was an unfair remark of me to make. • Keep It is (or was) a Fortune 500 company, NYSE listed, included in the S&P 400; there will clearly be ample coverage. Enough is already cited in the article to establish notability. WP:NOTTEMPORARY. Jfire (talk) 03:42, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep For comments on it's Fortune 500 status and mentions in newspapers above. TheManInTheBlackHat (Talk) 20:50, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I am going to start working on distinguishing between the companies since that seems important. The GXO page is also nominated for deletion. Sneakerheadguy (talk) 21:40, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - based on all keep comments above and Fortune 500 status I agree that this should be kept.Threevian (talk) 02:38, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
