Non-notable subject that does not meet WP:BASIC. Coverage found in searches for independent, reliable sources is limited to a couple of name checks. The primary sources in the article are not usable to establish notability. North America1000 22:27, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete I hate to do this, because I think we should allow articles on hymn creators as such. But since writting widely published hymns is not a default sign of notability, we really have nothing showing that Willes is notable.John Pack Lambert (talk) 02:46, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete – Per nom + He's a failed missionary who led some random college. He made no contributions to the Mormon Church other than two hymns. No notable independent sources. Redditaddict69 13:02, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Sources do not provide significant coverage that would allow this BLP to pass the GNG. Chetsford (talk) 16:51, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
