Subject of article does not seem to be notable. This individual was apparently a US Army general, but there is no mention of his career, save for a single mention of commanding the general staff school at Leavenworth. No further discussion of his military career. The remainder of the two-paragraph article discusses a trip that he and his wife took with Dwight Eisenhower in 1929. • Comment: WP:SOLDIER is an essay, not a notability guideline, and the GNG still requires sources to be produced if challenged. Ravenswing 01:53, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per WP:SOLDIER. Yes, it has no official status, but it is a widely accepted notability guideline by those who regularly edit such articles. -- Necrothesp (talk) 09:57, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep- Sufficiently notable that his travel diaries are hosted by a presidential library. Dru of Id (talk) 14:38, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
