- Easy Keep I recognized the name of Mr. Crowther even before looking at the article. He was one of the persons who received special recognition in the media after 9/11, because there were a number of people who remembered him as the man who helped them get out of the World Trade Center before its collapse. Unfortunately, he died when the tower came down, and he was identified as one of the heroes of that day by his description. Although victims of 9/11 are not inherently notable, he easily passes WP:GNG [1]. People still remember "the man in the red bandanna" more than eight years later. - weak delete, if he had appeared in a notable photograph on September 11, such as Falling Man, then notability may be established; if his actions were remarkable such as he saved a unit of firefighters, then notability may be established...in fact, if the part about him saving 18 lives can be more fleshed out, so it's clear it's not just a emotional memorialisation, it might actually persuade me to change my vote. But as it stands, I imagine the claim to his actions is probably mirrored across hundreds of victims' families that day. Sherurcij (speaker for the dead) 15:35, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment, I found Redbandana.org - a Christian outreach program based on Crowther's story...I maintain a "weak delete", but am still open to change if other people can find similar "lasting impacts" his story has had. Sherurcij (speaker for the dead) 15:40, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- There's also these references in books [2]. A photograph of him on September 11, as with a picture of anyone else inside the building when it collapsed, would have been an impossibility because of the circumstances. Mandsford (talk) 21:02, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. Mandsford has it, I think - notability and coverage are both sufficient to warrant an article. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 18:27, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
