- Weak Delete Gscholar cites are 44,41,29,22,22,17,16,13,8,etc; however, optimization is a very active field, so I do not believe, placed in context, his research to be sufficiently outstanding to pass WP:PROF. His press mentions in other contexts are plainly insufficient for the GNG. RayTalk 05:06, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Please Delete very non-notable person and probably a self-created wikipedia page given what is commonly known about him.
- Immediately previous comment seems to have no basis.
- Do Not Delete This page has been in existence since Dec 2007 and vetted for about 3 years. Does not seem to be a candidate for deletion after such a long time. The subject has had notable accomplishments in many fields including professional and community leadership. Hence, a singular criteria like WP:PROF may not be appropriate. All statements seems to be validated by references, some of which are in the native language. Overall, no case for deletion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Keraleeyan1 (talk • contribs) 22:47, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
