Classic WP:HAMMER.
No name, no track list, means it's too early (announced is spelled wrong)
Deprodded by original author. Shadowjams (talk) 07:08, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per nom, its WP:HAMMER time. JBsupreme (talk) 07:10, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy Delete even if the name and album are annouced and released a minute from now a page called To Be Anounced Nine Inch Nails Album will 100% useless. Ridernyc (talk) 07:14, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Which criteria? Shadowjams (talk) 07:16, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- No criteria, call it WP:Snowball this is a page that very obviously should not be here. Ridernyc (talk) 07:18, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Comment the total news about this is this tweet from Reznor "1st official day of work in the studio." that's it total. The entire article is total speculation no one knows if this is an album, a NIN project, that it will be released in 2010. Ridernyc (talk) 07:41, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- It's a pretty perfect example of WP:HAMMER. If you're interested in a CSD category on the point (which from a very casual review looks like it'd be very useful) then I suggest you take a look at the talk over at WP:CSD. Beware, it's occupied by people who have strong opinions. Shadowjams (talk) 08:02, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete WP:CRYSTAL + WP:Notability + WP:RS. Only source is Twitter, and that only says that there will be a new album, with no information about the album at all. Then we have "many fans speculate...", which is about as far from Wikipedia's criteria as it gets.
WP:CSD#A9 ("No indication of importance (musical recordings)").JamesBWatson (talk) 08:36, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- A9 is a non-starter, because a necessary condition for A9 is that the artist's page does not exist. Nine Inch Nails exists, so this can't be A9'ed. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 11:49, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, I had forgotten that. Still delete, though not speedily. However, it seems to me incongruous that, when the article doesn't even make a serious claim for existence, let alone significance or notability, the fact that the the artist has a Wikipedia article prevents speedy deletion. - Twitter just says he's in the studio, it says nothing about an album, he could be working on anything. For all we know he's working on the rumored Gary Numan project [1] Ridernyc (talk) 09:16, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete WP:HAMMER is a good essay that occasionally has exceptions. This isn't one of those times. WP:CRYSTAL is clearly breeched here. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 11:50, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete WP:HAMMER and WP:CRYSTAL What's next? Kim Kardashian's proposed first musical compilation project? These spec titles just keep getting crazier. Nate • (chatter) 12:34, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete - I can't really say anything other than here comes the hammer. (Especially when you (a) use Twitter as a reference - about as unreliable as you can get - and (b) can't spell "announced", "started" or "February" correctly.) - Comment Can someone WP:SNOW this one. This one of the very few times I think an early snow closure is in order. Ridernyc (talk) 17:02, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - not much more to say on this one; everyone above is correct. As a fan I am happy to learn that Reznor is in the studio again, and that makes me want to keep an eye on the official NIN website, not a non-viable WP article. DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 17:59, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
