PROD contested by article creator, no reason given. The original rationale of "fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL" remains valid. GiantSnowman 15:58, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment - article claims he played for Albania in their friendly against Lithuania in March. If true, he would pass WP:NFOOTBALL, but I have thus far been unable to find the line-ups for that match........ -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:52, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. He wasn't in the original squad called up for the Norway and Lithuania matches, which is here, about halfway down a long and incredibly detailed page. Nor was he in the line-up for the Lithuania friendly according to the Lithuania FA website, not even as an unused sub. As he's played neither for the national team nor for his club's first team, he fails WP:FOOTY. He is (genuinely) an under-21 international, but under-age internationals don't convey notability, and there's no evidence of his passing GNG. Perhaps there are Albanian-language sources, but I wouldn't be competent to assess them.
Mr Strakosha's name was first introduced into the Albania national football team article by an anon in August. Might be an idea if someone checked out that article. Where most national team articles list the latest squad, this one seems to have someone's idea of a "best squad"..... cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:10, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - No indication this player has genuinely played a minute of senior international football. Seems to me to be a case of WP:TOOSOON. No problem with recreation when he plays either in an FPL or internationally for the senior team. Fenix down (talk) 15:25, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete - per nom. He has not played in a fully pro league or for his country's national team, or received significant coverage, meaning the article fails WP:NSPORT and WP:GNG. Sir Sputnik (talk) 17:47, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - per nom, but keep the article safe, so that when he plays his first match with a prof team, the article may be easily recreated. --Shqipnia apo Shqiperia (talk) 19:02, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
