The result was keep. The article indeed needs cleanup, but that is not for AfD. (non-admin closure) Randykitty (talk) 18:45, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't checked RE notability, but the current page is promotional and contains no sources except for primary ones. We would be better off removing it per WP:V, until someone takes an interest in the page. If someone in the AfD process takes enough of an interest to create a sourced stub, that would also work. • Comment. This is a verifiable K–12 school. High schools are almost always kept at AfD per editor consensus. AfD is the remedy of last resort, not a tool to force cleanup. • Gene93k (talk) 22:40, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - this should not be brought here without WP:BEFORE due diligence. I see the nominator's concern over the promotional content but the first stage should be to clean it up editorially not coming to AFD. The Whispering Wind (talk) 23:18, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - We keep high schools because experience shows that, with enough research, sources can almost invariably be found that meet WP:ORG. Google is a poor tool for finding sources on schools in China. Very few have much of an Internet presence especially in English. We need to avoid systemic bias and allow time for local hard-copy and local language sources to be investigated. The Whispering Wind (talk) 23:18, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - AfD is not the venue for requests for clean up. School meets the precedent documented at WP:OUTCOMES#SCHOOLS - note that this is neither a policy nor a guideline, but a page that lists various long-term practices. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:09, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. By long precedent, verified secondary schools are considered to be notable. -- Necrothesp (talk) 21:32, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - this privately-run high school for the children of a single corporation's employees, so it is not automatically notable. Bearian (talk) 18:28, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • Being privately run makes no difference. -- Necrothesp (talk) 09:46, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
