As the name suggests, The Pines is a resort, and Pines Village (not Villages) is a resort area around it. Interestingly, I found this listing from 1919 that includes The Pines resort, and even has an ad for it, but it isn't the same as the current resort, which was started in 1977. Even the 1919 citation considers this part of Bass Lake. This isn't a notable place and not a settlement. Mangoe (talk) 05:23, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
