song already has a redirect to the singer as The Days (song) (I was unsure of what type of deletion tag to put, so I did this). Wgolf (talk) 18:28, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete I don't believe this even warrants a redirect. st170etalk 19:21, 6 October 2014 (UTC) Moved to Keep[reply]
  • St170e-considering that The Days (song) redirects to the singer of this song then yes! (this was previously deleted already but not as a AFD) Wgolf (talk) 19:24, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I worded that wrong Wgolf! My apologies. I meant to imply that it's a useless page. This article would be better prodded maybe since it's uncontroversial st170etalk 19:29, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • In my opinion the song need a page, there is an official video on youtube and the single was released on spotify, ITunes, and, of course, in the official Avicii store. There are a lot of news on the net talking about it, so I think it's better to improve it rather than delete it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FilBenLeafBoy (talkcontribs) 20:10, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment-well since The Days does redirect to it I suppose that could be the page for it. (Also the song should be part of the DAB page of The Days). Wgolf (talk) 20:22, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Why would you delete this page? I think wikipedia needs new pages and if there are news and sources about the argument, we could create a new page! (^_^)FilBenLeafBoy(^_^)(Let's TALK!) 15:09, 9 October 2014
  • Strong Keep: I mean when you have Avicii, Robbie Williams and a video like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDglMK9sgIQ why are we even discussing this. The single is already number 2 in Sverigetopplistan, the official Swedish Singles Chart. See http://www.sverigetopplistan.se/ then click Veckans Singellista on left... It is also a charting hit in Denmark's Tracklisten http://www.hitlisten.nu/default.asp?list=t40 as a new entry at #20, and Netherland Single Top 100 http://www.dutchcharts.nl/weekchart.asp?cat=s at #25 and I suspect by the time this is resolved, it will be a hit in dozens of other charts as well. I have added the positions on the page. This discussion should be closed very urgently as notability established beyond doubt. werldwayd (talk) 23:47, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Further to reaching number 2 in Sweden, now add France and Germany to the list of charting countries. New entry this week at #71 http://lescharts.com/showitem.asp?interpret=Avicii&titel=The+Days&cat=s On that page you can see the very high charting position in Germany as well at #7. And across the oceans in Down Under at #50.. See http://australian-charts.com/weekchart.asp?cat=s werldwayd (talk) 17:42, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.

  • Keep, just. One thing it definitely shouldn't be is deleted; it's keep or redirect to an album/artiste as per the guidelines for songs. I'm leaning towards keep rather than redirect. It's certainly notable, having charted in many countries, and likely more when it gets released there. There are a few secondary sources such as these: [1] [2] [3] [4] which seem to provide enough information for a standalone article. Just. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 03:56, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong keep: Charting song. J 1982 (talk) 09:02, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: The song is obviously doing very well in the charts, I'm moving from delete. st170etalk 19:08, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong Keep - it charted. Karlhard (talk to me) 00:54, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment-If you want it to be kept-it should be then changed to The Days (song) which is the same thing but redirects to the singer hence why I started this in the first place. Wgolf (talk) 17:41, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and rename to The Days (song). #1 in multiple countries strongly suggests notability. hinnk (talk) 00:10, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
