The result was redirect to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil#Soundtrack. As pointed out, WP:NSONGS does not apply when a song has only been nominated for a notable award. Other reasons for notability were not presented, so redirecting to the film's article is the correct outcome. SoWhy 14:48, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing specifically covering this song. All covg. in general film-song reviews.Singular coverage lonely in promotional writings.WP:NSONGS says ... Coverage of a song in the context of an album review does not establish notability. If the only coverage of a song occurs in the context of reviews of the album on which it appears, that material should be contained in the album article and an independent article about the song should not be created...; which is what is happening here.It also states Has won one or more significant awards or honors.Sources don't pass WP:RS.Redirect and/or merge to film article sought. • Comment - WP:MUSIC Song section point 2 states, that a song must have won a significant award Filmfare Awards are the oldest and most significant awards in India. Getting nominated in the Filmfare is equivalent to getting nominated for Academy Awards, This point may prove that this song is notable. • Delete, most likely with the redirect to the film being the most sensible outcome as well. While the song was nominated for a Filmfare award, it didn't win per the article on the relevant award ceremony and doesn't meet any of the other criteria relevant.
