As was said when it was prodded back in 2018, "NN shopping center. According to the article, it has only 10 stores making it very routine (WP:ROTM)." Searches turned up zero in-depth coverage. Fails WP:GNG. Onel5969 ^{TT me} 09:42, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Article has been improved since it was proposed for deletion in 2018 making the rationale irrelevant. Besides, WP:ROTM is just an essay and not a policy or guideline and there are now multiple sources here establishing notability per WP:GNG. The building is also Category B listed and thus is presumed notable per the first bullet of WP:GEOFEAT. Garuda3 (talk) 12:35, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - The sources in the article aren't great however as noted above it's a listed building and as far as I know listed buildings are considered de-facto notable. Had it not been a listed building I don't believe there would've been enough notability to justify this article if i'm honest, Anyway I've converted the cites to archive so it has now viewable cites. –Davey2010^Talk 13:20, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My understanding is that only Category A, being of national importance, are automatically notable. It's similar to the US, where buildings on the NRHP are notable, but buildings on state historical registers are not automatically notable. Onel5969 ^{TT me} 23:41, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep per WP:GEOFEAT. Despite the claim above, any national government heritage listing counts. Nowhere is it written that only category A qualifies in Scotland. Category B buildings are defined as "Buildings of special architectural or historic interest which are major examples of a particular period, style or building type". All Category A, B and C heritage listings in Scotland are at a national level and are thus of national importance. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:01, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. While the shopping centre doesn't appear notable per se, the building in which it is housed is, as evidenced by its listing. There are sources online to expand on the history of the site at Aberdeen's local studies website https://www.silvercityvault.org.uk and the building has a page with a small list of references here: https://www.scottisharchitects.org.uk/building_full.php?id=200496. The article's name should probably be changed to The Academy, Aberdeen. Rupples (talk) 02:39, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
