The subject has made two films but notability is not inherited. A quick Google search did not yield any results showcasing his notability nor has he won many notable awards to satisfy WP:ARTIST.   • Keep it is a bit too soon but a director does inherit some notability from his films in the same way that an assistant director would be devalued for not being the main director.
