- Because it works. If you have alternative suggestions, please share them. I've personally merged a number of articles without taking them to AfD as an alternative. While it sometimes works fine, other times, people revert me and then refuse to engage in meaningful discussion (see Talk:Firestar (Transformers) and Talk:Mammon (Dungeons & Dragons)).
