keep - One of the school's founders published Educational Leadership: A Guyanese Perspective in 2018 describing his experience with the school. Brian O'toole was shot in January 2019 by an expelled student, and was interviewed here, and here (Brian O'Toole), noting that his school has thousands of students. There is an archived description of the school here by its founders from 2011. The shooting gave the school numerous articles from independent sources: [1], [2], [3], [4]. The main issue I see is the confusion over the name "School of the Nations" and "Nations University", both affiliated with the O'Tooles. Cuñado ☼ - Talk 05:20, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Founder of the school is a Baha'i and the publisher of that booklet is also a Baha'i. In order to achieve notability, subject should have "gained sufficiently significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time" according to WP:GNG. And WP:ORG states, "An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources." Don't know how "Brian O'toole shoting in January 2019" brings notability to the School!Serv181920 (talk) 07:21, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you had read WP:NHS, you would have seen that the problem of notability for schools like this often comes down to verifying that they exist. I think that has been easily established here in several news outlets independent of the subject. Cuñado ☼ - Talk 08:01, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Many of those sources mention the school because of the Shooting incident. There doesn't seem to be anything specific about the school itself. Not sure if such mentions make the school notable.Serv181920 (talk) 07:30, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Keep There's articles about them offering tertiary certificates, like this. Personally, I abhor these kind of for-pay-wannabe-int'l schools (I mean, just the name makes me roll my eyes, don't get me started) but I think with the relative size and infrastructure of Guyana, this school has enough impact to have a slew of articles about a shooting and even earn some very pointed vandalism. Notability doesn't equal quality, and anything with a whiff of COI should be removed, but I'm not really convinced deletion is the answer here. Estheim (talk) 19:36, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - There is an older AFD for School of the Nations that I think was meant for the Guyana school before it became the list for the three "School of the Nations". The result was keep and it has its own set of research. Cuñado ☼ - Talk 17:11, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
