Literal railroad cut, not a community. See this. Couple sentences here. This appears to be referring to a nearby road, maybe not the cut itself. There's a few similar things: passing mentions as a landmark, or brief references to something occurring there. WP:GEOLAND is not met, and I'm not convinced the coverage quite rises to meet WP:GNG, although others may disagree. Hog Farm _Bacon 05:31, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy delete Mass-producer negligently misrepresented the source: Durham says under the entry for Bena: "California (1891) map shows a place called Sand Cut located along the railroad", not that it is a notable community or settlement. Reywas92^Talk 00:27, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
