The result was redirect to Roslyn, Manawatu-Wanganui#Schools. Never close this early but consensus is too redirect all non notable primary schools to the areas per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. (non-admin closure) –Davey2010^Talk 19:41, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Roslyn School, Palmerston North[edit]

Non-notable primary school. The only references cited are an official directory entry, and a cite to the school's own web site, nor did a google search reveal any additional reliable sources which would help establish notability. We are long past the "all schools are notable" mantra, i hope, at least at the primary/intermediate level. I note that the school's notability was challenged way back in 2007, and essentially nothing has been done in the years since to better demonstrate notability. DES ^(talk) 16:30, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
~~Delete~~ per WP:ORG. I'm the editor who originally flagged the notability concerns with this article back in 2006, but I think I subsequently had the experience of nominating another school article for deletion and being told that schools were inherently notable. As a result, I never nominated this and it just sat on my watchlist. It seems that consensus has changed about school notability in the meantime, and this doesn't appear to meet the guidelines. Redirect to Roslyn, Manawatu-Wanganui#Schools. Redirecting to the appropriate locality article is standard practice for non-notable New Zealand schools, as far as I am aware.-gadfium 19:04, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
