Around for 2 years, still an orphan; no references/sources, and is non-notable. Also nominating corresponding image File:Allen_freeman_UTPoint.jpg only used on this article. [Belinrahs|talktome⁄ ididit] 15:15, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Weak delete - To be honest with you, the term "Rock Skiing" appears to be floating around Google. The issue of the article being unreferenced and orphaned for 2 years isn't really a big deal as orphaned articles go way back to July 2006 and unreferenced articles go back to August 2006, having said that, orphaned articles sometimes have notability issues as in this case and I would agree that it isn't quite notable enough yet. - comment Did the nom actually check all the thousands of ghits or the 2 dozen in gNews? (I haven't checked to see if any are substantial). Orphaned is not a reason to delete--it merely indicates unworked on. Having no refs doesn't mean there aren't any to be found. DGG ( talk ) 16:32, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak Delete - The Google News results for this mention Rock Skiing in passing but it's mostly comments says 'nobody likes rock skiing', there's no in-depth coverage of this phenomena. It doesn't appear to meet criteria for notability. PanydThe muffin is not subtle 16:55, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete appears to be a real sport but is so obscure and unpopular that there I can't even find a club or association of participants. -Drdisque (talk) 03:20, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
